Welcome to AmCham’s first CEO Message for 2017! Already, there is plenty to talk about with the inauguration of President-elect Trump this Friday. Through his first hundred days and beyond, we at AmCham are here to help your business identify and engage with the opportunities presented by the incoming American administration. Upcoming Trade Missions
Our next Canberra Doorknock will be held on 27-30 March. AmCham Committee members will meet with leading policymakers to lobby for tax and regulatory reforms in the health, grocery and defence industries. Click here to contact our office for further details.
This year, APCAC’s annual Asia Pacific Business Summit will be held in Guangzhou, China on April 19-22. The Summit is great way for people interested in in doing business in China to make a good set of contacts in short order. I will be leading an Australian delegation this year – I hope you can join me!
Again in May, we will lead a delegation to the world’s largest Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas. It will run 29 April – 5 May. For your chance to meet with leading global executives from the energy industry, I invite you to register today.
We will return to Washington in June 19-22 for our annual Washington Doorknock, which will give you unparalleled access to the key play-makers in Congress and the new administration. Our focus will be on tax reforms that will help our member companies do business more competitively.
As always, our event program kicks off in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with our annual Super Bowl networking events on February 6. You won’t want to miss this!
